Hi my name is Lyinbryan Read. I have seized control of Brandon, SD from a spineless city council that will not oppose me. Watch a council meeting and see how I have them all voting in unison and never asking questions. If they do step out of line, I will quickly chime in and explain to them why they are wrong and why they must vote the way I tell them.
They will pay any bill I put in front of them without hesitation. Some are even wise to the fact that I have meetings with them before hand to tell them how they will vote. Illegal, sure, but our dirty city lawyer is always more than happy to help me keep the council in line with any lies necessary.
My authoritarian rule is unchallenged as no decent people would dare run for council. I only allow “yes” men on my council and vote tampering is never out of line, after all, I count the votes.
